HMH Names Charlotte General Manager

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Charlotte marketing communications firm HMH has named Sally Auguston, VP and one of the agency's managing partners, general manager. Auguston, who has been with HMH since 1996, previously served as acting Charlotte GM from late 2007 through early 2009. She relocated from the firm's Portland headquarters in late September.
"There's no one more qualified than Sally to serve as our Charlotte general manager," said HMH president Ed Herinckx. "She knows the market and she is respected by our clients and our staff. We're excited to have her leadership in the Charlotte market."
Auguston, who has a BS in marketing and an MBA from the University of Cincinnati, started the HMH brand strategy group, and brings more than 25 years of client and agency experience to her new role.
She will lead a staff of ten senior marketing professionals, with services including creative, account service, production and public relations.
