Lisa came to HMH in 1998, after several years handling communications and public relations for a transit agency. Lucky us.

With expertise in strategic planning, media relations, event management, trade shows and show homes, Lisa has built a rather impressive track record of long-term relationships through the years. She continually wows us with her knack for competitively positioning clients to build and maintain market advantage. Then again, she never has been one to back down from a little competition.

WORST JOB:

Picking strawberries as a teenager. I was the slowest picker in the field and the foreman would have fired me if I hadn't quit.

DREAM JOB:

It's a tie between international spy and journalist for National Geographic.

EMBARRASSING STORY ABOUT YOURSELF:

Summer. 16 years old. Getting ready for a first date. I decided my eyes could be a bit brighter so I used some Visine, but a drop ran down my cheek and, in my haste, I forgot to wipe it away. Five minutes later I had a perfectly white trail down the middle of my sunburned cheek. It lasted most of the evening. Beware: Visine really does get the red out...

SOMETHING NO ONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU:

I love one of my dogs more than the other.

FAVORITE HOBBY:

I guess this is where I say that I have a black belt in Taekwon-do. But to call it a hobby seems an understatement.

OTHER INTERESTING FACTS YOU WANT TO SHARE WITH THE WORLD:

I once tried out for wrestling. The coach wanted to let me on the team, but it was against the rules because I was a girl: A fact that had, up to that point, escaped the attention of most people around me.
