Leah's first gig was with The Onion in Madison, Wisconsin, a small college paper that went on to become a bit of a cult favorite. "It was five of us stuffed in a basement office of a funky smelling building. We worked insane hours, made no money and I was happy. I was 20. I was writing," confesses Leah. Fourteen years later, what Leah loves is finding ways to connect with people. And she means people, not broad mass audiences. Leah's work has won Roseys, Tellys, Addys and other awards, but she's best known around the shop for her ridiculous Midwest accent.
