As head of the HMH production department, Kelly oversees workflow, budgets and quality control. Simultaneously. Working with internal resources and external partners, Kelly makes sure everything we produce is top-notch, on time and on budget. WORST JOB:
Working for a legal newspaper doing galley paste-ups. If there was a typo, I had to cut the letters out and move type over. Inevitably, the correct type would fall off at press time.
DREAM JOB:
I would love to open a summer camp for under-privileged children.
FIRST JOB:
Camp counselor in Colorado. I learned how to make shampoo from the roots of a Yucca plant. That way, we could at least have clean hair out in the backcountry.

I'm a dead head. I've been to several hundred Grateful Dead shows.
