HMH Agency Adds Staff to Charlotte Office

August 29, 2007

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – HMH, a creative marketing communications firm with offices in Charlotte, N.C., and Portland, Ore., has added staff to its Charlotte office.

Sandra Draheim joins HMH as an account director. She will be responsible for strategic direction and account supervision for HMH clients Detroit Diesel and Sterling Trucks and will be based in Detroit. Draheim has more than 25 years marketing experience, most recently as a senior account supervisor at Gelia Wells & Mohr Marketing Communications in Toledo, Ohio.

Adam Avant has been added as an account executive. He will work with HMH clients Detroit Diesel and Sterling Trucks. Avant has been an account executive for five years and most recently worked for the Trahan Burden Charles agency in Baltimore, Md.

Eric Layne will serve has HMH's senior studio artist. In this newly-created position, Layne will oversee all aspects of print design and digital asset management. He has more than 10 years experience in graphic design and studio management and most recently served as operations manager for the TBWA\CHIAT\DAY advertising agency in New York.

Becca Bernstein joins HMH as a senior copywriter. Bernstein has nine years experience as a copywriter working for local agencies Corder Philips and Wray Ward Laseter and most recently served as brand manager for Pokertek in Charlotte.

Betsy Grant will be HMH's administrative assistant and receptionist. She is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

HMH is a 29-year-old full service marketing communications firm serving a wide range of local, regional and national clients. HMH offers advertising, public relations, graphic design, interactive, account planning, media buying and branding services.
