HMH Names Suppliers of the Year

February 16, 2007

PORTLAND, Ore. -- HMH has named its suppliers of the year. Studio 3, Inc., was honored as the production supplier of the year and John Young of KGW- TV was selected as media supplier of the year.

"Our suppliers are our partners and deserve recognition for their many contributions to our mutual success and that of our clients," said Paula Phillis, HMH principal and vice president of production.

Founded in 1974, Studio 3 is one of largest commercial photography studios in the Northwest, with offices in Portland and Seattle. It has a staff of 18, including six full-time photographers. "We've worked with Studio 3 for nearly 20 years and they've been an amazing resource for us. They have such a professional crew and their systems for producing high-quality work are second to none," said Phillis.

Sales representative John Young is HMH's primary contact at KGW-TV and works with HMH on the local Subway Restaurants account. Young has worked for the Portland NBC affiliate for more than 30 years. "John shows genuine interest in our client's welfare and goes above and beyond what a typical station representative would provide, offering us value-added promotions and helping us maximize our advertising budget," said Judy Anderson, media supervisor for HMH.

This is the fifth year HMH has honored key supplier partners. The award includes a framed certificate, a gift and a presentation ceremony at an HMH staff meeting.

With offices in Portland, Ore., and Charlotte, N.C., HMH is a 29-year-old full service marketing communications firm serving a wide range of local, regional and national clients. HMH offers advertising, public relations, graphic design, interactive, account planning, media buying and branding services.
