HMH DONATES BLANKETS TO LOCAL NON-PROFITS

December 11, 2006

PORTLAND, Ore. – This year, HMH's holiday gift to clients will give twice. In addition to sending out a warm, cozy blanket to each of its clients, the company has donated 150 blankets to two local non-profits, Community Transitional School and Raphael House.

"Every quarter we send our clients a themed gift related to the season or to an upcoming holiday," said Paula Phillis, partner at HMH. "When we decided to give blankets as this quarter's gift, we thought it would be nice to do the same for someone who could really use a warm blanket this time of year." Along with the blanket, each client received a holiday card from HMH, noting that a similar blanket was donated on their behalf to the two non-profit agencies.

Community Transitional School is a private school in southeast Portland for children whose families are homeless or in transition. Raphael House is a local shelter for women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

With offices in Portland, Ore., and Charlotte, N.C., HMH is a 28-year-old full service marketing communications firm serving a wide range of local, regional and national clients. HMH offers advertising, public relations, graphic design, interactive, account planning, media buying and branding services.
