PORTLAND, Ore. – A Web site produced by HMH for Milgard Windows was honored as Webby Worthy in the 9th Annual Webby Awards, the leading international award program honoring excellence in Web design, functionality and creativity.
Although only one Webby Award was presented in each category, Web sites that showed "an outstanding caliber of work" were honored as Webby Worthy. Fewer than 20 percent of the 4,000 entries received this year were deemed worthy.
The Webby Awards is the leading international award program honoring excellence in Web design, functionality and creativity. Established in 1996, the Webbys are presented by The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, a 500-member body of leading web experts, business figures, visionaries and creative celebrities. The academy evaluates Web sites on six criteria: content, structure and navigation, visual design, functionality, interactivity and overall experience.
