HMH WINS TEN AWARDS AT CHARLOTTE ADDY SHOW

The Charlotte, N.C. office of HMH was honored with ten awards in the 2005 ADDY Awards show, sponsored by the Charlotte Ad Club and the American Advertising Federation. HMH took home five gold and five silver awards in the competition, which showcases the finest advertising and design work in the Charlotte area.
HMH received gold ADDY awards for a billboard for Carolina Raptor Center and an ad campaign and three magazine ads produced for Freightliner Trucks. The agency received silver awards for two magazine ads and a direct mail campaign for Thomas Built Buses, an annual report for Freightliner LLC and a direct mail fundraising campaign for Carolina Raptor Center. Thomas Built Buses is based in High Point and Freightliner, LLC is North Carolina's largest manufacturing employer.
HMH's gold winners will go on to compete in the regional ADDY Awards show and those winners will compete in the national competition at the American Advertising Federation's national conference in June. The ADDY Awards show is the world's largest advertising competition, with more than 60,000 entries.
"Although we've done business in Charlotte since 2001, this was our first time at the local ADDY show," said Mark Conachan, associate creative director, who is based in Charlotte. "It was great to get together with other local agencies to share our work."
